Re: Results Rnd 12 (Final)
Here are my final scores (Croz I was in agreeance with all your scores before the final game)
Wolves 308 def by Bangers 398 - led by a new breed of Banger, Luke McPharlin with 14 marks and Davide Ellard with 8 tackles saw off the Wolves who put all their goal-kickers into the all star basket.
Tigers 354 def by Raptors 371. I hope you enjoyed how Joel Selwood played this weekend, Pez because he is out for at least three games. Stevie Johnson has to be nudging the One Heart Medal.
Heroes 352 def by Mustangs 393. The girls got their team right this week despite Mundy going down on Sundy in the first few minutes. Heroes are too dependent on suspect Melbourne players.
Warthogs 305 def by Maulers 392. Doughty, Douglass, Green and Monfries are off the vacation list for the Warthogs. No travelling to Europe for them. Solid, all-round effort from the Maulers. Now, can he do it again next week?
Ridgebacks 373 def by Gladiators 450. Quite a thumping when you see the scores. Looks like some Ridgebacks need to go to Las Vegas, err, sorry Arizona.
Terriers 415 d Vipers 405. Terriers were the only home team to win! Ben Reid need 13 marks to win it for the Vipers and he gave it a hell of a shake. I thought I was home and hosed on Saturday night...silly bunt.
As usual, these results should once again shake up the Premiership table.

Gerry..all clear except for Mustangs, I had 395.
I grabbed my stats for last games about 2 hours after it finished.
Did you have Josh Fraser come in to rucks?

Yes - Andrew Embley was the problem...so all clear.
Now to fix up this Google Docs fiasco.
I will try to revert them to the original documents...

Congrats on the win Gerry.
I know we've all been there, but losing when you score 400 always sucks.

Thanks. Despite the loss, your last five weeks has been fab.
You are sitting one-out, one-back in trotting terms - a nice place to be.

Re: Results Rnd 12 (Final)
If you look at the Heat chart, the Vipers certainly look like the team to beat this year.
If they make top 4 at the end of the minor round, look out!!

Re: Results Rnd 12 (Final)
The heat chart tells me only one thing...all teams have their ups. All teams have their downs.
The premier will have a big month (seemingly most teams can only stay up for 4 weeks or so) in August.
Premierships are not won now. Nor are they lost.

100% agreed.
It is all about peaking at the right time. Mind you, it certainly helps by getting in to a top 4 position. Has it been won from outside the top 4 yet?

FWIW I agree Macca. I learnt that lesson last year when 6 weeks out of the finals I was getting consistent scores over 400. Then come finals I was 1 and done.
While its great to have your team doing well and helps to get that top 4 spot which is so crucial, in June it doesnt mean a lot.

Re: Results Rnd 12 (Final)
Should be a cracking game of 2 v 3 next week!
Good news: 1 of you will lose
Bad news: 1 of you will win.
Draw, damn it!

Re: Results Rnd 12 (Final)
I owe Macca from earlier this year so I think its going to be a pretty intense week on the track for the Vipers.
Even though this doesnt mean too much because of his depth, its a good week to get the Ridgebacks as Collingwood have the bye.

Yeah doesn't mean much...just take out Swan, Pendlebury, Dawes, Krakwhore, Beams, Blair (yeah I dont play him, but depth is important!)
If you don't beat me this week...you never will.

Mate I know your down on your team, but I honestly think you probably have more depth in your list than anyone. So when I said it didnt matter too much I just meant that you have the depth to cover those guys and still put out a stronger team than most .Macca wrote:Yeah doesn't mean much...just take out Swan, Pendlebury, Dawes, Krakwhore, Beams, Blair (yeah I dont play him, but depth is important!)

Maybe ive been going about this the wrong way. Instead of being honest i'll just write what you want to read.
Yup sorry Macca, your team is shit and has no chance against my mighty team.
