Mind you, it was quite a wrench to lose Cunnington who looks like he has settled into the Kangaroos forward line.

First you stole Hurley from the Maulers and now Rioli. I can foresee a time in the not so distant future where you will face pressure to apologise for the stolen generation of Mauler players you've taken away! Have you no shame man?

@ Jeff, its always better to shop around mate. True some here will offer hams but most of us will better the cheap trinkets Gerry keeps offering you Terriers v Maulers trade 1545

No doubt Jeff could do much better.

There is a massive advantage working at Gleeson and Gerry is taking full advantage of it! First he stole Hurley and now Rioli. Dont be fooled by the polite & calm exterior people. Gerry is a cold blooded killer.

Interesting to hear all the debate for what it's worth the game we play is based on numbers? I have had rioli for 89 games of those he looks fantastic on tv but his numbers do not compare to let's say Dwayne beams or a Scott pendelbury thou he has played maybe 20 more! My theory is based on trying to release players to make other areas strong and despite rioli this week he is very hit and miss! Hurley is the same how many times had he taken a game statistically apart? Ans? Maybe x2 4 goals his highest?

Just my thoughts!

Fair call too Jeff!
I think you need to actually coach player's to understand their strengths and weaknesses...and in Rioli's case we probably all look at him, when he is gunning it and drool. But that is an inconsistent picture.
End of the day: we have our opinion, but your the coach....and can do as you please!!
