Preliminary results from Round 11

Post by gerry on Mon Jun 08, 2009 9:04 am

Gladiators 418 def Mustangs 375.
JB and Kosi not enough v Fev and Gazza. Gladiators win with a zero in two positions!

Terriers 294 def by Wolves 374.
The Wolves team as a whole much better than the hapless, stupid Terriers.
Consistency, where is thy sword?

Bangers 415 def by Heroes 421.
Holy mackerel, Batman. What scores from both teams! Roo's 93 seemed to make the difference!

Spartans 342 def Ridgebacks 334.
Higgins and Hayes shine for the big doggies but his other tacklers go missing. Spartans win and I don't know why.

Maulers 338 def by Warthogs 375.
Big, big 115 points from Edwards in his showcase game for the Warthogs makes a huge difference in the scoreline.

Truckers 319 def by Raptors 414.
Steve Johnson back drinking suntan cream and goes missing but who cares! Swan and Goodes get a combined total of 181 All Star points and get the Raptors off eleventh place.

I can confirm the above results.

All results sheets will be posted under the official results thread.

Cheers Macca, it just makes the 8th of June more special. I finally get a win over you mate, albeit hardly a great performance by either team but i'll take it.

Not sure if we play again this year, but I expect the next result wont be so flattering to me.

Quite the contrary I am sure.
Why wouldn't your team get any stronger? I think you will ONLY get stronger.

Hopefully I get stronger with getting a few players back. I had a look tonight at the injury lists and must admit got a little excited.

Lachie Hansen should be back this week, Dalziel should only be another few weeks and Jesse W Smith is due back in round 14.

But lets be honest there is no way you have another shocker like that next time I play you. You have way too much class in your team for that to happen too often.
