I hope Mr Sparta gets his team in soon - I don't want to face last week's team by default!

Spartans updated all OK....he didn't have your email address at his work.

Funny, I was just about to upload Ridgies and Mustangs but you beat me to it. I am anal, however, and trimmed all the outside crap. This also helps pages load quicker.

Gerry, we are like a well-oiled machine the way we have published the teams on the forum this year! Well done, Ol' chap.

Well done, Gents.

Any baby-induced errors in selection Jase?

God I hope not, this game is my season. If I can scrape up a win, I would be stoked. I never imagined that I could make the finals this year, but im starting to get my hopes up now.

I know I have no chance at winning it, but man I would love a bit of finals action.

Man, you gotta feel for Macca....

I'm not saying he will lose, but its rough when Riewoldt (Heroes) has 99 All Star points and Pavlich (Ridgebacks) has 92 All Star points and is played as a Goal Kicker (kicked 1 point).

At least the 17 combined tackles for the Ridgebacks helps!

This game will go down to the wire, nothing surer. The injury to Higgins, the stupid interchange infringement, Pavlich not kicking goals. Macca would be pissed about not having Selwood as all star but what do you do when you have so many guns you can play there. In saying that, this game has a way to go. Scoring points from goals and tackles is never assured so hang in there buddy. This may yet be your sweetest victory against your greatest adversary.

Actually all 6 games are too hard to call at this stage.

My game is neck and neck. Fev didnt fire, and a hamstring injury to Robert Murphy has hurt me.

O'bree getting zero tackles and Leon Davis not getting any tackles towards his All Star points has hurt Truckers.

Will be a tense Sunday all round!

I don't know what else to say other than I cannot believe the highs and lows of this game.

You can follow all matter of logic and get shat on.
You can follow no logic at all and be victorious.

Watching last night, when Riewoldt was gifted that goal...all I could do was laugh.

It's just not my year.

Laughing

I will add that I have, in the last week or so, gathered some excitement about what Selwood, (a fit) Higgins, Pendlebury, Hawkins, Roughead and co might do for me as they mature into 24-25 yo's over the next few years.

1. Nah not pissed about Selwood not in AS. Was never in my thinking...was always possies or tackles...glad i went tackles.
2. Yeah a little pissed about Pav over Hawkins in goals...thought he may have played closer to goals...oh well.
3. The Riewoldt gifted goal was a tad overwhelming...as i said...I laughed.
4. Any heartbeat I had was crushed out by Lenny Hayes having such a terrible game in AS...but I could never stay mad at him! I love you

what has pissed me off is...

1. Joel Macdonald...three marks in first ten minutes of game...not one for rest of match.
2. Port naming Brogan, then pulling him out. thus making Lade the only ruck. I toyed with Maric v Lade...went for Maric...if I had known Brogan wouldnt play I would have played Lade ahead of Maric.
3. Riewoldt being awarded tackles for touching his opponent.

Hmm I wonder if the intention of this post was just to put the mozza on me, Gerry Mad

Jack (The other white meat) Riewoldt, kicking 6 goals would have sealed the deal for me. But of course I played him in marks, now I have another tense wait while I wait for the Crows game to end to see if I won.

Still way too close to call, dammit.

LOL yes I imagine it wouldnt be hard to get excited by these guys.

I think thats what I like most about your team Macca, you have some great players but you also have some of the best young guns in the game.

Just based on who you can retain there is no doubt you'll be back next year amongst the top 3.

If so, it didn't work.
Too good! Enjoy the finals!

Thanks Gerry, depending on results your still not out of it yet.

But I gotta be honest, im pretty stoked at making the finals this year. At the start of the year I thought it would be realistic to make the finals in my 3rd year in the league. So to make it in my 2nd year is a huge thrill for me, especially considering the list I inherited.
