Interesting! What an understatement.
You do know that if you knock off the Raptors, you are in?

But more importantly the Craptors will be out as long as the Truckers score no less than 3 points under the Craptors score (if Truckers lose) OR the Terriers win.

Here's a question: Lets say the Terriers, Raptors and Truckers both lose and the Raptors score 4 points more than the Truckers. Both Truckers and Raptors will be tied for 8th on exactly the same number of 'Points For'.

Ooohhhh......can you imagine? I think the Executive would need to rule that, as Pez is the bigger knob, the Truckers go through to the 8.

Thought?

Both of them are big on using the constitution to their advantage.

Would need to consult it and see if we ever considered that prospect.

Perhaps they could both play against 5th place? No thats just dumb.

What about the forgotten team - the Mustangs.
If Terriers, Raptors and Truckers lose, and the Mustangs win they are only currently 40 points for (and an average of 3 points for) below the Raptors and Truckers.
We could have a three-way tie!

Lot of ifs and buts....still very amusing.

Also good news Spartans - you have a 10 point home ground advantage - whatever happens!

I hate Geelong

Post by gerry on Sat Aug 01, 2009 6:28 am

For so many reasons.
However, the main one is that my season, which never reached great heights, has just been smashed by the Twin Shrimps.
I knew it was going to be hard to beat Banger but those two make it even harder.
So stuff you Geelong and stuff you ASFFL. Go run yourself!

Just kidding... I'll be back, bigger and better next year. It will be a Mayne and Grimes led resurgence!

I had forgotten about the home ground advantage! That will be handy.

There's no home advantage for the GF though is there?

Not that im expecting to make it of course, just curious for next season....... lol!

No advantage for the GF - just the fact that you are there should be enough.

This is getting better. Mustangs have 210 All Star points.
Truckers - you need to win or lose with a big score!

I dunno what drugs you are on Croz...but the Ponies will thump me this week. At half time of the WC & Dons game she is up 385 to 380. But I only have Kennedy in goals to her Embley and Prismall in possies.

She will post a score of 400+ which might make it interesting for the race to make the finals.
