Banger not Stoked

Post by croz on Thu Feb 04, 2010 11:14 am

Oh Dear,

I was pretty sure I was right, but needed to consult the constitution on this one....

Banger is under the impression he can delist Stokes and add another of his players to this retained players list....BUT, the constitution states:

3.3[8] Unforseen Circumstances:
Should any retained player, before the PSD, retire, become long term injured, or involve themselves in any acts that may see them in penitentiary / rehabilitation, you are not allowed any form of recourse. You may, however, immediately delist the player and be eligible to select a player with the pick in the Pre Season Draft, but cannot choose to take another player from your list as ‘retained’. As an example, Andrew Crosby chooses to retain Wayne Carey at pick one. Wayne Carey is found knee deep in an unsavoury act. Wayne Carey retires. Andrew Crosby, if he chooses to delist Carey, is now ‘down’ one retained player but may ‘draft’ a new pick one come the PSD.

Can anyone back me up here?

He gets to delist Stokes (his court date is March) as I see this as 'unforseen circumstances' and can select another player in the draft at that position, but not add a player form his list.

I agree with you Croz, thats the way I see it. The constitution is pretty clear cut in this unfortunate matter

I was preoccupied today when Banger was talking about this but I think that you are correct. He can de-list Stokes, but can't retain anyone else.
Ok, who is going to tell him?

Yeah but tell me how many times he has lost a player through injury or cocaine trafficking.
