Croz, Gez...I made a slight alteration to my team as Pendelbury in doubt.
Basically I just moved Deledio to 1st reserve AS and first reserve possies.

Jack Redden is named in possies. Rolling Eyes

See your email as I cant get the google docs thing going from my mac.

Ta boys.

The Mac should be able to handle Google Docs. You are just not trying, Macca.

BTW - the above team is final for me.

Nice work, Macca. Classy team.
Whilst I am not yet ready to concede (thanks Goddard), I am just about to get the key for the cupboard which holds the white flag.
I feel like Peter Costello during election night at the last election saying, "We can still win this!"

Goddard to AS was a defensive move given the fact his numbers last week all came in the last 1/4 and I dont like him away from half back.

Better in AS with stuff all than in marks with 0.

Comment on Banger's team

Post by Milnee on Fri Apr 03, 2009 2:19 pm

I nearly fell over backwards when the Coach of the year 2008 and the 2008 premiership names Brett Burton as a possession player when he ain't playing until round 11 at least!

On a personal note I would like to thank and congratulate Mr Leigh (smoking Joe) Montagna on a hundred games to night and a lazy 12 tackles (All star points of 103!) Named in tackles it was a good start for the warthogs although Tyson Edwards despite 29 possessions rated 56 All star points. Oh Well Swings and roundabouts. Oh to have had the Porp in goals tonight with three very nice goals and Johncock with 8 marks

Cheers

macca,

i was at the game last night and noticed a couple of things

goddard would have to be one of the softest players(crab) going around in the afl

it was embarrassing to see, he was running away from contests and the ball

good for our game but shite as player

compare that to the ferocity at which sir lenny tackles, you have chalk and cheese their mate

rooey also looks a little precious, still scored mid 60's all star, but very precious, when do you think he may live up to his potential and frequently tear games apart?? aka buddy franklin

I fear that Goddard has in fact been advised to play that receiver role Shannon.
He was given the role of taking McLeod to the furthest point from the ball so not surprised with lack of stats output there.

Rooey is tough in terms of how he works, aerobically, to contests and has eyes only for the ball. You cant pot his courage. He is a tough player.

Lenny, gun. His 8 tackles came from 53% game time.

Croz.
Awesome new set up with the team sheets!
Very easy to use from my point of view - just needs that one last step and it will be sensational!

It's over peoples!
Run up the white flag and sound the last post.

Worthy winner, Macca.

I had to try a few different moves and they didn't come off.
Oh well, back to the bottom four!
