Results for Round 1, 2013
Well, it has begun. The great, new 10-side League, with fantastically high, record-breaking scores and....wait a minute!
Talk about starting with a whimper (except for the Gladdies, of course).
Bangers 344 def by Gladiators 408
Gazza and Barlow (sound like a comedy duo) lead the way with some outstanding All Star scores that not even Chappie's efforts in the Monday game could match. Looks like the Crozbot is back, although I think he still misses Fev in goals.
Tigers 338 def Warthogs 327
Just a few more tackles from Selwood would have got the Warthogs over the line in this very wimpy game. Tacklers and Markers let both sides down and even Buddy looked a little lost. Don't worry, Trucker, when he gets off the juice he will dominate.
Wolves 359 def by Ridgebacks 377.
Heath Hocking almost lead the Wolves into an unlikely victory, but the discarded, Kane Cornes stepped up for the injured Beams and dragged the Ridgies over the line. Staggering that we allowed the Ridgebacks to get Lenny Hayes back again.
Terriers 325 def by Mustangs 346.
This game never reached any great heights and in the end, the 90 point All Star game from Mundy was the difference. Next.
Vipers 346 def by Maulers 349
Not sure what happened here but I had this pencilled in as a win the to Vipers. Really need someone to check the scores before I comment further.
Premiership table and One Heart votes coming soon.

Re: Results for Round 1, 2013
Sorry Gerry been away over the Easter weekend, even though im sure they are right, i'll check the scores anyway.
Although I would like to put in a formal complaint to Champion Data because they made a mistake. I was watching the Hawks V Geelong game and knowing that I needed 7 marks from Birchall to tie my game (assuming your scores are correct of course) I noticed with 2:50 something to go in the last qtr Birchall was not credited with his 7th mark when he should have been. I am not making this up, it was a legit mark and they never counted it because I checked the stats straight away and every minute afterwards. Anyway it made for an exciting end to the weekend, even if it resulted in a loss.
