Re: Probable Gladiators retainees...
Aaron Davey at 8, Steven King at 7, Brad Symes at 5, Craig Bird at 24, Lynden Dunn at 27, Andrew Raines at 28, Ricky Retard at 30...
and of course Simon Black and Dean Cox both at 1
I guess when you have a premiership team you would like to keep all of them!

Re: Probable Gladiators retainees...
Yes its not always easy to select who your keeping. Some players select themselves but others are line ball decisions as to who you think will improve more next season.
Either way Croz you have a formidable list of retainees there. A nice blend of older proven players and up and comers.

Yes, a fairly young bottom tier.
How did you win a premiership with that?
(Just jealous)

Yes there are some very nice young players there. I think I wore out a keyboard last year trying to get my hands on young Cale Morton, but to no avail.

Croz, I now have first pick in round 3...would you be willing to upgrade me in 1, and I upgrade you in 3?
That gives you the earliest possible selection as your first live pick.

Re: Probable Gladiators retainees...
So I go from 2nd pick to 1st pick in 3rd round.
And you go from 11th pick to 3rd pick in 1st round.
Macca....dont insult me!

Re: Probable Gladiators retainees...
Plus, I have 1st pick in Rnd 5, and Im retaining Gablett in Rnd 6 (bottom pick).
The only place I can really go up early is Rnd 7 (currently bottom pick) and Rnd 3 (currently 2nd pick).
OR, I can be sweetened throughout the middle tier.
Either way, I cant really lose...its just up to who REAAAALLLLLY wants that 3rd pick in Rnd 1.

Sorry didnt realise you were 2nd pick in third round.
I did that post 'on the go' whilst on my iphone...would be a stupid move from you.
On another note...why would you be keeping Cox? Couldnt you get him at pick 3 and then keep Scotland? Or have I missed something?
ps - Warthogs or Raptors would be your best bet if you want an early round 7 pick.

Re: Probable Gladiators retainees...
Its an interesting situation....
Because I have 2 number 1's (Black and Cox) one of them actually gets bumped down.
Therefore, if I keep both of them I am getting either Black or Cox in Rnd 2.
Plus, if I dont keep Cox, Black will be my number 1 pick and I will have to wait until 10th pick in Rnd 2. I would be happy to pick Black and Cox in Rnds 1 & 2 so I have decided (reluctantly) to keep both.
Double plus, I am sick of not having a ruckman.
Triple plus, since we are retaining 2 more players from each team, there are 24 less players available in Rnds 1 & 2.
Over and Out.

Yep makes logical sense when you put it that way.
Good win!

Terriers in Round 7 would be reasonable as well.
