Results Round 4

Wow. Just wow. A couple of sensational results!
Bangers 447 d Mustangs 409. The Battle of the Goliaths lived up to its name! Five from Milne sealed the deal despite a 90 point all star effort from the Adelaide slayer - Chris Judd.
Spartans 349 def by Ridgebacks 360. Another magic five goals from Pav and...not much else was enough to defeat Sparta despite 99 all star points from another Adelaide-slayer Mark Murphy.
Gladiators 389 def Maulers 280. Gladiators coach is still missing in action but his team rallies to see off the hapless Maulers. What has happened to this once great team?
Warthogs 418 def by Terriers 453. Again, what a game! 13 tackles from Swallow and 12 from Cassisi not enough to deal with the dynamic all star duo of Kade Simpson and Brendon Goddard (204 all star points!). Woo-hoo! "Best game ever by the Terriers", said the coach.
Raptors 349 def by Heroes 394. Those who said the Hero was in decline need to re-evaluate. Where did he get his players from? Steve Johnson (6 goals) and Mark Jamar (34 hits) did their best for the Wrappers but the bull-dozing Hero was too good.
Wolves 384 def Truckers 295. No Buddy, no Wolves? Don't you believe it. 15 tackles from Kirk helped but so did 6 goals from Mooney and LeCras. Truckers still searching for a consistent all star.
Again, what an incredible range of scores.
Couple of big games next week.

Re: Results Round 4
See this is where you are a dickbrain.
My argument was never that 400+ scores dont happen...my argument was that I was scoring 400+ and losing most weeks.
Obviously that has happened this week, so perhaps not the best week to be pushing my argument...but my belief is that it is not normal to score 400 and lose...for two months straight!
Besides that, I won this week with a terrific 360...and to make things even better, you lost, so who gives a fuck about 2009?

i thought you werent going to respond to my posts????
you still dont get it!!!! if the number of 400+ scores are becoming more common, then its not bad luck if you lose to a team which got 400+ whether you scored 290, 350 or 405!!!!

Congrats on the win Macca.
Im over this year already, I just want this season to end so I can start again. I cannot select a decent team if it was sitting in front of me.

Rubbish Shannon!
Trade out of the rut man...you have a lot of genuine possession players.
Trade for a gun AS...even a younger one.
Step into the devils lair.

Re: Results Round 4
OK, 2 differences:
Gladiators 383 NOT 389. Again, it is probably Mitch (not Mitchell) Hahn in goals.
Raptors 359 NOT 349. Not sure where the difference is, I checked twice?
Check the link in the first post for published result sheets.
