Results for Round 18
Some intimidating results this week as the league leaders flex their muscles:
Terriers 387 d Bangers 309. No Bartel, no Bangers. High on the Banger 'you will never play for the Bangers again' list include Luke Power (11 possies), Mathew Stokes (12 possies), Daniel Rich (0 tackles) and Stephen Milne (0 goals). Nice score by the Terriers but this may not be enough to be competitive in the finals.
BTW this scoreline MIGHT shift the Bangours from first to fifth spot - and an elimination final against the rampaging Maulers.
Spartans 276 def by Raptors 427. Spartans spinning out of control as the Raptors shimmy purposefully into the finals. I am calling it - Spartans are tanking. Pez, you must have experienced a lot of self-pleasure over the weekend.
Gladiators 402 def by Warthogs 412. This Fev- less score by the Gladdies is a warning shot to all teams above them - beware, the Gladiator is stirring. Warthogs moving effortlessly into ANOTHER final series and AGAIN are in the final four. Far out, brussel sprout.
Maulers 453 def Truckers 437. OMG. How the hell did this happen? On every other week, the Truckers would have won by a mile! However, Shane Tuck helped dismantle Adelaide, and so helped do the same to the Truckers. Again, the Maulers scores over the last three weeks have been fantastic and it looks like they are winding up just at the right time of the year.
Good signs for 2011 Trucker. [PS: Lemon flavoured, please].
Ridgebacks 393 v Wolves (uncertain - I don't have the team sheet but Macca says he has it, and that's all that needs to happen). I would be surprised if Macca lost this one even with five more from LeCras.
Mustangs 277 def by Heroes 348. Farewell to the Mustangs who blew any chance of usurping the Mustangs with a less than impressive final round. Farewell, too, for the Heroes. Keep the PSD for next year FREE, buddy - the league needs a strong Heroes team.
Now working on the table and the possible line up for the finals.

Re: Results for Round 18
ahh fuck it,
this final round for the year sums up the truckers season
it is great to be a part of the game, and thanks to those who keep it alive, gezza, your tireless work does not go unmoticed and the ice teas will come soon. thanks crozzy for your work also.
to those on the board who work hard for the game, keeping a glimmer of light in the comp, cheers,
This round may possibly have been the final truckers team submitted to the ASFFL.
glad it was a decent score.
cheers fellas, adios

He has had enough...he explained it to me.
He reckons that there are too many people who simply dont engage...he's probably right.

Well, that would be very sad. Clearly having a son has shown him that, gulp....there are more important things in the world.
