My predictions 2010

Premier: Gladiators - ticks all the boxes regarding goal kickers, tacklers, slut markers and will execute terrific list management come draft day.

Runner up: Spartans - The prized eggs will hatch. Gibbs will be unstoppable so long as he doesnt drink with Eddie Betts and Chris Judda$

3rd -8th (in order): Heroes (Roo will keep thrusting the big Lithuanian Bebe Noses upwards), Ridgebacks ( will be thereabouts dont you worry!), Terriers (gun kids), Bangers (I am gonna label him...in decline!), Maulers (could easily finish much higher), Truckers (too many hand spitters to be anything more than hit/miss)

9th-11th (in order): Mustangs (like Wolves...one man team...trade JB now for two kids), Raptors (too reliant on Swan and garlic sauce), Warthogs (dads army)

Wooden Spoon: Wolves - Will need to trade Buddy if list is to become improved (and she wont do that...so will remain a one man team)

One Heart medal: Bryce Gibbs (does it all)

Headline: Hogs outta luck at last.

Very interesting analysis, very hard to do when you dont know each teams retained players let alone before the pre-season draft.

Not quite sure how with your retained player list that you honestly think you will finish 4th. The only way thats happening is if you have terrible luck again. I have no doubt that you will be top 2 this year, no question.

As for me I honestly think I will be around the bottom half of the top 8, somewhere around 6th - 8th. Only way I go higher is if the kids on my list improve a lot more than I think they will.

I think I have too many players with question marks, ie Will they stay fit? Cotchin, Gumbleton, Butler, Palmer. Will Rhys Palmer return to his previous form or will he do his knee again. Mitchell Clark, will he stay in the ruck or will Charman and Leunberger take back that role. I could go on and on.

The top lists ie Ridgebacks, Gladiators, Bangers have legit stars with most positions covered. I have emerging potential players like, Cotchin, Tippett, Riewoldt, Beams, Dangerfield, Josh Kennedy etc most of whom are still another year away.

Stop talking yourself down...your in it up to your eye balls.

No seriously, I am not a top 2 team yet. Just looking at possible retained players Gladiators, Ridgebacks and Bangers are the top 3 teams. To suggest anything else is foolish.
