I was in with a chance before todays games but Goldstein is a monster with 47 HO's and Riewoldt turned back the clock with 13 marks.

Thanks Jason. I must admit that it was a sweet victory. You are becoming a powerhouse in the competition and it always feels good to win against quality opposition. Joey had me nervous though. Goldstein has given me some hope that I might sneak into the finals. It would be better though if we reverted back to 2 points for hitouts as we did in the early days.

Wolves 254 def by Maulers 340. Wolves' All Stars go missing (with most of the rest of the team) and Mauled gets up courtesy of a stinging 98 points from Trav. Truck is going to be spewing with this score.

Tigers 427 def by (!!!) Gladiators 468. I think the big G has posted a new All Star record combined score of 243 (the previous was 212). This was with one of his goal-kickers getting 2 points and a marker with 3 marks. Dizzy stuff, folks.

Heroes 401 def Vipers 383. Already called in the previous post. Craig Bird's injury might came at just the wrong moment for Slytherin. Todd Goldstein is the new Sandilands!

Warthogs 375 376 def by Terriers 430. Terriers take advantage of missing opposition coach to nobble some of this players - Dom Cassisi with just three tackles! Unheard of. The best news is that Shiels got another three points for the One Heart. Go, you good thing.

Ridgebacks 479 def Bangers 418. Ridgebacks coach celebrates new Ollie arrival by smashing the Bangers convincingly. Kelly and Hodge were standouts. Imagine the score if Dawes had kicked any!

Mustangs 350 def by Raptors 365. These scores seem a little pedestrian in comparison. Two donuts from the Raptors goal-kickers (and I use the term advisedly) almost ruined the party but Steve Johnson and Tom Rock'n'Roll Cliff did enough.

Ok, check the scores folks because the Gladiator might be a while and might be in a delirium when he does actually bless us with his presence.

Its always painful to score 400 and lose. I know it happens a bit, but for 2 teams to do it this week is crazy.

Gotta feel for Shannon, 427 would beat every team most weeks.
