Terriers needed 73 in the last game to win it and I actually saw the Hurley mark that helped me over the line. What a roller-coaster weekend. I was ready for the Terriers last rites after losing so many players. However, Howlett and Hurley answered the call. Bad luck, Gladdies. You have suffered the minor premiers curse (which is rubbish but it makes for good PR).

Vipers 341 def Maulers 336 342 (see below)
This needs some serious checking because the Vipers coach thinks he has lost it by one point. In fact he should have lost it. Westhoff needed three marks in the last game to clinch it for the Maulers and could only manage one. Travis Cloke played a huge game...but so did Goodes and Montagna for the Vipers. So commiserations to the Maulers and congrats to the Vipers - into your first grand final...I think.
Now for the back-pedal. My apologies to both coaches and curses to the mother's of both Scott Thompsons. Yes, the Vipers coach got it right. He lost by a miserable point. To have 23 rounds come down to this. Bad luck Viper. Well done Maulers - in for your second Grand Final!

sorry to hear that macca. Was it gerry getting into the final that tipped the scales or the vipers losing by a point. It has certainly been a quiet year with a lot less posting, trading and hoohah'

Trucker warned me not to fantasise about what if I was in the finals but I couldn't help myself. Placed my team as usual and for the third week in a row scored over 400. This week it was 422 with Barry hall on 4 goals my two tacklers get 15 between them and swallow and monfries scoring 184.
