Would I be correct Gerry in saying that we will again allow rookies to play on our teams without being upgraded for the bye rounds?

That's my understanding.
As a result of the survey we did last year, it's status quo this year.

Its ok i'll survive. Besides how can I make a realistic offer when I have never seen the kid play a full game. Sure ive seen highlights and read a lot about him, but nothing beats seeing him in action. You would have a better idea of his true worth than me.

I agree that we skip past him because we cant hold the draft up, but does he forfeit his pick? By that I mean if someone is skipped would we really say no to them drafting a player late? They of course will have to accept that the players taken after their original pick are no longer available to them, but I dont see that as a problem.

The Constitution says:

[3] Coaches have 36 hours from the last pick (time listed online) to pick a player before forfeiting their right to that pick. Once a coach has passed twice, the remaining picks are also forfeited.

Let's hope he doesn't forget his next pick. I saw him at work and he was well aware that it was his pick.
However, if other coaches feel we don't need to be so dogmatic then I am happy to shift his pick 15 to pick 51.

ok fair enough, I was only pointing out that its only the rookie draft and wouldnt matter if he was skipped and made his pick at a later date throughout the draft.
