Please make your rookie draft selections here in this thread.

Gerry, I have txt'd Croz to let him know he is first cab off the rank (note I am happy to text anyone when its their turn, just PM me your mobile phone number and i'll text you when your turn is coming up)

The available players and their stats that meet the criteria (30 games and less) can be viewed HERE

Its in the Rookie draft 2014 thread but once ive done the teams i'll copy that over to this thread. Unless Gerry does it before I get to it....

I will also endeavour to get a list of available players who meet the criteria ASAP as well.

hi Mate,

i thought i retained ryan lester last year, 5th round rookie draft

just checked my retained players and you had him in red so i didnt retain, but he is on your spreadsheet for rookies as playing 22 games.

can i keep him then please in the same spot, fifth round?

On the retainee list (HERE)his name is in red meaning he had played too many games so you didnt retain him. I checked again and he has played 38 games.

He was however on the rookie available list, which is where im guessing you saw him, but that was a mistake. In my rush to get the list done he slipped thru. I have no taken him off the list, sorry for the confusion.

Gerry informed me I can choose not to retain a player but put that pick at the end of the 5 rounds. If that is the case I would like not to retain Kane Mitchell who I have with my second pick and draft another rookie for this year.

Available players spreadsheet has now been updated and is hopefully this time correct!

The issue was from Footywire because when I downloaded the players and their details from their site in Jan they hadnt included 2013 games in the total games! So players like Scott Gumbleton were showing up as playing 28 games on my spreadsheet but that didnt include the 7 games he played in 2013 which makes him ineligible for rookie status.

This has now hopefully been fixed as I had to re-download all the player details and then weed out the drafted players and those who have played more than 30 games. Not happy but at least now its done!

It would be incredible to think that first he picks up Barlow as a rookie and now someone like Mitchell as well. Croz would be like, lets skip this PSD thing and just do a rookie draft!

Ok thanks for letting me know. So much for this list being better......

Ive gone through the list again and found some other errors that ive fixed. I wont say its good now but its the best we got as I dont have the time to re-do it and find out what happened with the last attempt.
