Results for Round 3, 2013
I'll leave this first post for Gerry to edit and post his results and write up -Thanks, Jase. All clear with the scores, btw. Just post when you are ready - no protocols here. Sorry, I had some family commitments.
Bangers 329 def by Ridgebacks 392
It looked like Stevie J was going to pull the Bangers out of the fire this week but in his worst run ever, he remains rooted at the bottom of the table, third loss in a row and with a woeful Points For total. Sound more like the Terriers in 2011 - a Premiership year . Ridgebacks continue on his merry way despite the loss of four key players, apparently.
Warthogs (reserves) 337 def by Mustangs (firsts) 406
Never write off JB and never listen to my advice. A great all-round effort from the Ponys but especially in Possesions with a massive 127 points in that category. Tacklers looking a bit thin in the Warthogs camp. Hey, look Swallow and Selwood are tackling their arses off over in Viperland. Maybe you could make him an offer, Milnee?
Gladiators 386 def by Maulers 427.
Justin Westoff is going spastic but is only being played as a marker. When is he going to get an All Star spot, Coach? (*although read the advice above). Big games from Rhino O'Keefe and Travis "Five Million Dollar Man" Cloke set the Maulers up for a nice win and a cruisy start to the season.
Tigers 361 def by Vipers 428.
Tigers gave this one up early, not helped with the significant (and points limited) injury to the McPharlin. Selwood and Swallow (groan) were the stars for the Vipers and what a great investment they are. What did you get for them again?
Wolves 304 def by Terriers 375
Wolves unlucky to have Kruezer go down, no goals to Davey and two marks to Shoenetc. Terriers relying heavily on Pendlebury and Goddard to carry the team. And what a splendid job they are doing. The rest of you - pull your collective fingers out. Simpsooonnnn! I'm looking at you!

Re: Results for Round 3, 2013
Of course we need Gerry to confirm and provide the offical results however my scores are as follows:
Bangers 329 lost to Ridgebacks 392
Warthogs 337 lost to Mustangs 406
Gladiators 386 lost to Maulers 427
Tigers 361 lost to Vipers 428
Wolves 304 lost to Terriers 375
Good game Shannon, I was really worried about this game as you have some real game breakers like Franklin and your markers are insane. I got super lucky with McPharlin getting subbed out.

I am the early favourite for unluckiest team in the league.
3 decent scores and only 1 win.
This game sucks arse

Believe me I know how you feel Croz, last year was a nightmare for me at the start of the season. But at least you have plenty of time to turn things around. I have no doubt you'll be there at the pointy end of the season.
